Luis Figo

Luis Figo was born in Almada, Portugal on Nov. 4, 1972. When he was young, he was sent to a club for the purpose of football training after discovering his interests on football. As a midfielder for Portugal squad, he was the most capped footballer for the Portugal side in Portugal football shirt.

He has played for Sporting CP, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Internazionale for many times, winning numerous trophies and titles. Before the new record creating by Cristiano Ronaldo, he was the record keeper – wining 127 caps for the Portugal national football team. Having been widely taken as the greatest footballer of his generation, Figo is famous for his unique styles, creativity and ability. There are many achievements won by Figo, such as Portuguese Cup, La Liga title, Spanish Cup, Spanish Super Cup and UEFA Champions League.

On behalf of the Portugal, he won 32 goals at international competitions – European Championship and two world cups. Under his assistance, the Portugal national football team won the second place at Euro 2004.
